I want to learn to play Piano?
I don’t have enough to spend on a real grand piano though, so I might get a keyboard. I’m also a amateur and want to learn how.
When I was little, above our piano we had a picture of a woman playing a grand piano.?
Later, we had a sale and it was sold (for next to nothing). Years later, my mom still says how much she loved that picture. I’m not sure it was a painting, maybe a print…..I was 6 and admit I didn’t pay much attention to it at the time. Does anyone know where I could start an internet search?
The only thing I remember is that it was large (but I was 6) and it had a woman, grand piano and possibly some flowers.
Anyone? Anyone at all?

Why does the grand piano voice on my YAMAHA DGX505 sound so muffled?
When I choose ANY of the piano voices, it sounds muffled – like a synthesized keyboard kind of sound. But when the demo plays, it sounds like a real grand piano. Is there some other setting I need to turn on or off to get this to sound like a real piano? Thanks!
For piano teachers: Is a Grand Piano really necissary to own if I want to major in music?
I’ve heard that a grand piano is a must for those majoring in music, because an upright just doesn’t have the capabilities required to play certain pieces of music with the right technique. I was just curious what my fellow musicians thought of this. And please if you aren’t a musician, music major, or music teacher, don’t answer.
Why is there no grand piano in Live Lite 6?
I recently bought Live Lite 6 and an Axiom 49 keyboard. The cd only came with limited instruments and not even a grand piano. Does anyone know of a good program to play/record from a keyboard or how to download more instruments to Live Lite 6?
Is it possible to learn piano autodidact?
I am always interested in piano, but now I can only watch my friend playing with amazed. I feel that my fingers are stiff now because of my age. What I know from my friends who learn piano is they started to learn since they are kids. There is one grand piano in a hall in my university that is used for certain event but during freetime students can come to play the piano. This grand piano which according to one of my friends that can play piano is good piano. So I think I can also use the piano, but what should I learn at first to learn autodidact?
I want to learn how to play the piano?
Here’s the deal. I want to learn how to play the piano, but I don’t have the money to afford a big grand piano.
I decided I’d like to get a keyboard, instead. But I’m afraid the notes won’t be able to blend. On an electric keyboard, can you play several notes at once like you can on a grand piano? I have some cheap ones that only let you play three notes at a time.
What is a good brand to fit my needs?
