I’m learning guitar, and the tips of my finger are numb from holding down the strings. Now it’s really hard for me to play the piano because I can’t feel the keys. What should I do?
I’ve been playing piano for a long time.

Me and my friend want to start doing some covers. I play piano and she plays guitar. I don’t want anything painfully mainstream. Any suggestions? We are both fairly advanced.

I’ve been playing piano for seven years, and I have to say, I’m pretty darn good. Will it be easier to play guitar now than If I had started playing guitar with no musical experience whatsoever? I also heard that people that play piano can’t play the guitar well.

I really don’t know how to play piano lol. I just took the chords from guitar and played them on piano.

Most songs I find they have the guitar tabs or chords or whatever they are called. I only see them as chords for the piano, but obviously there’s a way to read them as notes.

I’m looking at piece of sheet music designed for Piano/Voice and guitar, more specifically this piece-

Anyways, it has the piano and voice written out but it only has chord charts for the guitar, how do I know what rhythm to play, do I only play the chord once for eacho chord chart or do I follow the piano rhythm exactly? I do know how to read music and rhythm notation but have never learned using this type or sheet music. Thanks for your help.

i’ve seen people do it. how do you play the chords on the piano? how many keys and stuff?
like the ones with the lyrics and the chords..do you just play the chords? how many keys and stuff?

and i was just wondering … for example, the first part with the chords F then G then C … do i just play each chord once before going to the next chord? and i wanted to play this song for real, but with only chords, wouldnt that be only occupying my RIGHT hand? what does my left hand do when playing this on the piano?
