I really like mendelssohn’s piano concertos i listen to them all the time. I would really love to play some of his pieces, how long until i would be able to play? This is still my first year of playing. Lets say if you were dedicated how long would it take to get up to this level? Just wondering thank you.

I played piano for about 10 years now, and I only know how to play normal songs with notes. I’ve been seeing piano pieces with chords such as Em, C, G but, I have no clue how to play them. Does anyone know or have a tutorial that can show me how to play chords?

I play piano. I’ve been playing for about 7 years. I’m advanced and I’d like to know some good songs to play on the piano. I like the classics a lot like Romeo and Juliet or Love Story. I’ve played piano for the last 9 years, and I get bored with the same songs. I love teaching myself new songs to play but I don’t have any more songs in mind. If you play piano, what are some of your favorite songs to play?

Me and my friend want to start doing some covers. I play piano and she plays guitar. I don’t want anything painfully mainstream. Any suggestions? We are both fairly advanced.

I am planning on playing the piano and singing at my eigth grade promotion. I want the song to be about “I had fun, wish me luck!” sort of thing. Obviously I’m in eigth grade and promotion is pretty far away but I want time to learn and perfect it. It doesn’t matter about the difficulty of the piece. I have been playing piano for about ten years so I can play it. The genre doesn’t matter but it has to be school appropriate (for obvious reasons) and singable (again, for obvious reasons). basically i have been playing piano for quite some time, but i have always had to rely on people posting video’s on youtube/toiling over countless pages of sheet music.
I want to know how to train my ear, so that i can listen to a song, and then just be able to play it like i know many people do.

I’ve been trying to teach myself how to play piano for a long while now. I’m not great at reading music so i learn my watching people and by ear. I’m 14 so If you know of any modern piano music i could look up on youtube that’d be great. something not to fast, I’ve tried clocks by cold play and i’m barely getting the hang of it.
